About Munchymins
Munchymins are a closed species currently in beta, but are planned to be officially released soon! They are very small creatures with squishy, mochi-like flesh and bendable bones. Munchymins are very mischevious by nature, and love to collect trinkets in their pouches. when they are young or low on energy, they take forms of monchiis, which can visually compare to mochi balls or sea bunnies. these forms basially eat anything in their path until they gain enough energy to take form of munchymins. Munchymins can sustain a lot of physical damage, and can deal some damage themselves with their very sharp claws and big ears. They do have weak spots though, as their antenna and tail are extreme sensitive, and any damage can be detrimental. They love warmth, and typically use their ear paws to wrap around them and keep them warm or safe. They love wearing oversized clothing made with warm material like fleece or flannel. Their mouths are very unique, as they have teeth/claws that become very durable and strong with the more sugar they consume. Their jaws can also unhinge and allow them to eat entire platters hole. They don't have a capacity to how much they can consume as their bodies simply grow to make more space for food. Sweets and sugar are a crucial part of their diet in order for them to stay in their version of healthy. Their antenna and tail are extremely sensitive, and they use them to stay extra aware of their surroundings. Harm to any of these parts can cause a munchymin to become permanently disabled or even kill them.Due to their soft mochi-like skin, injuries are very easy, but munchymins are extremely durable. Tears, ripped off limbs, and other injuries can heal up fast if they consume a lot of sugar. Their bones are extremely stretchy and flexible, but can still tear or wear down. These can heal back like their flesh, but take more time. They usually dont have thumbs and only have three fingers, so they typically have to hold things with two hands. This isnt too much of an inconvenience though, as their ears work as another set of hands.
